Molly Hill – Head Varsity Coach


Molly is headed into her 3rd year as the Varsity Head Coach. During her first year in the role, the Wolves made it to the state tournament for the first time in 10 years. Previously, she has served as Head Coach of the Junior Varsity team for the 2 seasons. She has been with the program since 2015. 


Additionally, Molly was part of the 2007 Eastlake State Championship team and continued on to play two years at Boise State University, helping the team win the program’s first Western Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance. She continued her education at Washington State University, earning her degree in education. She currently teaches Health & Fitness and Leadership at Eastlake.


Zachary Hammond – Assistant Varsity Coach

Zach is in his 7th year as a EHS assistant coach. He has been with Eastlake since fall 2015. He also is the JV Head coach at Lake Washington High School during the Spring.


Zack attended Lake Washington HS, and Humboldt State University. In both high school and college, Zack was voted runner-up for conference player of the year in his senior season.  He was also entered into the 2014 MLS SuperDraft, one of 250+ players pooled from every college and university in the country, along with a select group of international players.


Katrina Millet– Head Junior Varsity Coach


This will be Katrina's 2nd year coaching girls’ soccer at Eastlake High School. Katrina currently teaches Health and Fitness and Leadership at Eastlake.

Kara Popp - Head C-Team Coach


Kara Popp moved to Washington State after growing up in Amherst, N.Y.  She graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in Journalism.


She began her coaching career at the recreational level which lead to coaching at the select level with Issaquah Soccer Club and Cascade FC and now at the premier level at Eastside FC. She has earned her National D license coaching credential.


Kara is employed as an event planner and fundraiser. She lives in Redmond with her husband Dan and their 5 kids. All 5 children play or have played in the local premier clubs. Her oldest 4 children went on to play collegiate soccer. Her youngest son is currently playing locally for Eastside FC.


Kara is thrilled to be back for her 12th year as the C-Team coach at Eastlake. She enjoys interacting with the girls and watching their development and growth within the Eastlake Soccer Program.

Hayden Zabel - Head C-Team 2 Coach

This will be Hayden’s 2nd year coaching the C-Team. Coach Zabel is a teacher at Eastlake.
